The International Academy of Pathology Malaysian Division (IAPMD) had recently won the bidding as the host for the Asia Pacific IAP Congress in 2023. The bidding process was made in the recent Asia Pacific IAP council meeting at the Asia Pacific IAP Congress in Heifei, China. Delegates of our committee members headed by our Vice President, Dato' Dr. Norain Karim delivered the presentation in the meeting before the vote was made. See you in APIAP 2023 in Penang!
The Department of Pathology, Hospital Pulau Pinang in collaboration with International Academy of Pathology, Malaysian Division (IAPMD) and College of Pathologist, Academy of Medicine Malaysia, had organised a National Genitourinary & Female Genital Tract Pathology Workshop that was held on 27-28th July 2019 at Auditorium ACC, Penang General Hospital.
There were a total of 160 delegates, including 15 foreign delegates. The workshop included lectures and slide seminars of selected interesting and challenging cases. I believe that our diverse and dynamic speakers had performed an outstanding job of sharing their expertise with the participants and had provided in-depth insight as well as practical tools in the diagnosis of genitourinary and female reproductive system pathology.
I would like to thank all the participants who attended the workshop. Your presence helped to make this event a great success and your enthusiasm and positive spirit helped make our time together both productive and fun. Thank you for your comments and suggestions on the evaluations, and I assure you that each will be given consideration so that future workshops
will be even more of a success.
