Invitation to Apply for IAPMD Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) Bursaries

Each year, IAPMD offers 10 bursaries of RM1,000 each to successful applicants to support their attendance at the IAPMD Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM). This initiative is intended to encourage professional development and academic participation among IAPMD members, particularly those who are early in their careers.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a current member of IAPMD.
• Be 40 years old or younger at the time of application. Applicants above the age limit may also apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Have received abstract acceptance from the ASM Scientific Committee for the relevant year's ASM.

Application Requirements

When the bursary application is officially opened, applicants should submit the following documents to the Vice President of IAPMD, Prof. Dr Effat Omar, at dreffatomar@gmail.com:

1. Cover Letter – Briefly explain your reasons for applying for the bursary and how it would support your professional development.
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) – Include your age, complete address, email address, and current career status.
3. Two Referees – Provide the names, complete addresses, and email addresses of two referees who can support your application.
4. Abstract Details – Provide the Abstract ID and title of the abstract accepted for presentation at the relevant year's ASM.
